Spangler, a Alfred alumni, is kinda my new secret muddy-love. These pieces are so seductively shaped and glazed but the completely crack me up, too. Spangler also creates interactive new media installations, one of which involves the audience by asking them to assemble vessels from a series of parts previously thrown by the artist himself. Interesting, no?
